Opale Smartphone Superviser - OSS

Overview

The Opale Smartphone Supervisor (OSS) is an Android-based software agent developed by Opale Systems to facilitate automated mobile network testing. Designed for devices running Android 8 (Oreo) and above, OSS enables the automation of mobile call placements and the collection of wireless environment metrics, including Wi-Fi and cellular data.

When integrated with Opale Systems' MultiDSLA platform, OSS provides real-time provisioning of wireless environment information during tests, offering a comprehensive view of network performance from the end-user's perspective. This integration allows for detailed analysis of voice quality and other key performance indicators (KPIs), enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of mobile network assessments.

 This tool is particularly valuable for telecom operators and service providers aiming to conduct thorough and automated assessments of mobile network performance and quality of experience (QoE).

MultiDSLA Platform

Acts as the central control and analysis software environment.

Provides test configuration, execution, results collection, and advanced reporting.

Supports remote management and automation for distributed test environments.

OPALE SMARTPHONE SUPERVISER (OSS) Agent

Serve as the interface to the Device Under Test (DUT). OSS provides interfacing and measurement capabilities on Android devices.

 MultiDSLA also supports some software agents VPP for SIP connectivity and hardware agents DSLA for analog and handset connectivity.
